Nearly 350 Tucson Soccer Academy (TSA) competitive youth
players were joined by thousands of others in the opening
weekend of their 2006 - 2007 season. By next April when
National Cup play begins, TSA players will have played
scores of games, practiced thousands of minutes, and dreamed
innumerable dreams of future success on and off the pitch.
Creating the type of challenging environment that can make
these dreams come true is no easy undertaking. Although many
families bear the expenses associated with playing at TSA,
participation would be impossible for needy families without
the generosity of businesses and individuals in Southern
Arizona. By making a donation to TSA on their behalf, you
are ensuring that this special experience is available to
children from all backgrounds.
You will be proud of your
association with the Tucson Soccer Academy, Southern
Arizona’s premier youth soccer club. TSA was founded in 2000
as a joint venture of local soccer clubs and coaches to
provide committed, ambitious, talented youth players with a
superior training environment. Since its inception, TSA
players have accumulated numerous honors, including:
• Three state champions, 7
runners-up, 24 semi-finalists
• One regional finalist and two
semi-finalists
• Over 60 TSA alumni progressing to
2- and 4-year college programs
• Eight players who have been
selected for the Olympic Development Program regional pool
• Six players selected as Arizona
or Southern Arizona High School Player of the Year
• One player selected as National
Division II Women’s Player of the Year
This year, TSA has expanded
its program to include boys and girls in the under-11 to
under-13 age groups. We have also expanded our scholarship
program. In the 2005 – 2006 season TSA will provide more
than $30,000 in soccer scholarship assistance to 60 less
fortunate families so their children can participate on our
teams. Please help us give all of Tucson’s outstanding youth
players a chance to compete at the highest level.
