Community Outreach Program

TSA is dedicated to fostering the best possible environment for young players to reach their full potential in soccer throughout Southern Arizona. The fastest and best means of achieving this mission is by elevating the level of instruction and competition in our region. Therefore, the TSA staff is fully committed to sharing its expertise and training methods with all of the areas clubs and players at no cost.

TSA welcomes requests for player and coaching clinics. Requests should be directed to Community Outreach Director Bruce Caris at 886-3977 or email him at [email protected]. Again, there is no charge for these clinics, however, a minimum of 20 coaches or 50 players is required.

TSA has also developed age-appropriate coaching manuals for three separate age groups.
6, 7, & 8 Year-olds
9 & 10 Year-olds
11 & 12 Year-olds

All three manuals have valuable insights on how to teach youth players with lots of samples exercises and games. The manuals are available for $3.00 to cover the cost of printing. For additional information contact Bruce Caris or TSA manager Laurie Ledwith at 519-6723.

Each year, the TSA staff conducts an informational meeting on what to expect from the college recruiting process and how to prepare for collegiate soccer. Meeting times and locations will be posted on our web site.

All TSA players and staff are involved in the community. During the 2000-01 season, TSA teams have been volunteers at local tournaments, demonstrators at player and coaches clinics, participants in the "Run for the Cure", and many other activities as well.
