
HOW DOES MY TEAM APPLY?
Applications must be made online through this website and Gotsoccer. You may pay online through the Gotsoccer system or you may send in a check with a copy of your registration.
WHAT IS THE COST OF THE TOURNAMENT?
The full entry fee for U7-U8 teams playing 4v4 is $400.00, U9-U10 teams playing 7v7 is $450.00, U11-U12 teams playing 9v9 and U13 and U14 is $550.00 and U15-U19 is $575.00. There will be a $25 discount for any team applying and paying by 8/1/16. After that date, the full rates will apply.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT PER AGE GROUP:
The tournament format will be 4v4 for U7 & U8, 7v7 for U9 & U10, 9v9 for U11 & U12 and 11v11 for U13-U19 all other age groups.
WHAT FIELDS ARE USED FOR THE TOURNAMENT?
Tentatively we will try to have the age groups play at the following fields. This is subject to change however based upon the number of teams, etc.
Fields to be used: Kino Sports Complex, Rillito Park, and Golf Links Park.
Directions to the parks and field maps are linked from the home page of this website. These age group locations may change depending on number of teams in each age group.
HOW LONG ARE GAMES?
U7-U8 (4v4) Two 15 minute halves
U9-U10 (7v7) Two 20 minute halves
U11-U12 (9v9) Two 25 minute halves
U13-U14 Two 30 minute halves
U15-U19 Two 35 minute halves
ARE WE REQUIRED TO STAY IN YOUR HOTELS?
The Tournament is a "Stay and Play" tournament, so we ask that if you stay in a hotel for the tournament that you use one of our sponsor hotels.
WHEN DO GAMES BEGIN?
Games will begin on Friday evening, September 23rd at 6pm for the local teams and any teams that request Friday night games. Games will begin on Saturday at 8am. We will as the schedule enables us try to honor requests.
ARE GUEST PLAYERS PERMITTED?
Teams may have up to five guest players with the exception of the U7-U10 teams which will be allowed up to three guest players. The appropriate paperwork will need to be completed. Players guest playing must have a player release signed by the releasing coach, and the coach of the team for which the player will be playing. Your state office and website should have the necessary paperwork for you to complete.
CHECK IN:
All teams are required to check-in by a team representative at Sheraton Tucson Hotel and Suites on Friday, September 23, 2016 between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The Sheraton is located at 5151 East Grant Road, Tucson, AZ.
WHAT IS REQUIRED AT CHECK-IN?
Each team is required to bring a player roster that includes jersey numbers and names, player cards and medical release forms (notarized if out of state), travel papers for out of state teams, and guest player forms for each guest player. You will also need to provide us with a copy of your roster at check-in.
WHEN WILL SCHEDULES BE POSTED?
We anticipate schedules being posted by September 16, 2016. Please check the website for schedule changes after that date, and re-check it regularly.
HOW DOES THE TOURNAMENT HANDLE INCLEMENT WEATHER?
TSA will make every effort to continue all games. Please refer to our Inclement Weather Policy.
ARE MEDALS GIVEN?
The Tournament will give out 1st and 2nd place medals for all flights. And we will a have participation gift for the U7-U12 teams. Please make sure to pick these up at your game site since we will not mail them after the tournament is finished.
OUT OF STATE TEAMS?
Plese have your out of state travel papers approved prior to coming to the tournament. You MUST provide them prior to check in or at check-in.
