This year, AYSA commenced a process to honor those who have served our soccer community over the years.  Each year, two recipients will be Awarded for their past and or continued efforts to grow and foster youth soccer in Arizona.  

For 2016, the following two people were recognized for their service to youth soccer in Arizona.  In recognition, the Championship trophies for the following two AYSA cup tournaments and age-groups/genders will carry their respective names into the future.

Under-13 Boys State Cup Champions: Championship Trophy is now the: "Wolfgang Weber Honorary Award"
Under-13 Girls Gold Presidents Cup: Championship Trophy is now the:  "Linda K. Corbett Honorary Award"
