The boys played excellent football this weekend.  It's difficult to believe that they gave up 0 goals to their four opponents, and yet finished fourth in the tournament.  They began with a scoreless tie in a rematch of last years champoinship game with El Paso Bears.  Next, they faced AYSO 329 Border Bandits and scored 4 times (Cooper 2, Zepp, Negrete) for the win. Sunday morning pitted them against local rival Aztecs. The 2-0 (Cooper, Simpson) final score gave them 1 point less than El Paso Bears in the standings and they were forced to play for third against another local rival - Freedom Santos. Again they played to a scoreless tie, sending the game to a shootout to determine the winner.  Two missed shots gave Santos the win, 4-2.
