97 Boys Blue defeats San Tan for Arsenal Challenge Championship

 

The ’97 Boys Blue team bested the ’97 San Tan team to win the championship game in the Arsenal Challenge U16 Silver bracket.

The two teams met earlier in the tournament and fought to a 3-3 draw. The championship game was no less exciting. TSA scored early and San Tan equalized shortly after. The game was back and forth with both teams having opportunities to score. TSA scored the go ahead goal midway through the second half and won the game 2-1.
