Developmental teams provide enthusiastic young players (U7, U8, U9 & U10) the opportunity to develop their talent under the direction of a qualified coach. The training environment is geared towards preparing players for our Competitive U11 to U18 program.
What you can expect:
Seven-month Season: August - February.
Qualified coaches with playing and/or coaching experience.
Competitive, but FUN developmental environment with supervision, advice, encouragement, and instant feedback.
Practice 2-3X/week depending on the age group.
Teams are organized according to motor development, technical ability, & physical maturity.
Teams play in-house and city-wide in PCJSL.
Teams will enter local tournaments.
Registration fees cover the costs for:
Dues:
Arizona Youth Soccer Association
Pima County Junior Soccer League
Official TSA uniform
Field fees including lights
Administration fees
Fees do not include coaching fees ($50/month for U7 & U8 or $75/month for U9 & U10) or tournament expenses.
Uniform
The official TSA uniform consists of 2 match jerseys, 1 pair match shorts, 1 pair match socks, 2 training t-shirts. Nike is the official equipment supplier of TSA and uniforms will be distributed at the beginning of the season.
Other items needed:
Shin guards (required for practices and games)
Soccer shoes (not required but highly recommended)
Size 4 ball
